As part of the centenary of the death of the famous Bohemian composer, the Gustav Mahler Music Weeks offer a very special program. But even during the 2nd edition of the Festival Alto Adige Mahler/Kontraste/Belcanto the most important works of Gustav Mahler, who from 1908 to 1910 spent his summer vacation in Dobbiaco, will be performed.

The famous musician Joe Cocker this year as part of its "Hard Knocks Tour 2011" will be a guest in Brunico in South Tyrol. The concert will take place on Saturday, July 16, 2011 in Brunico in Piazza Municipio.

Only a few days ago there finished the 30th edition of the Musical Week Gustav Mahler and, in a few weeks there begins the Alto Adige Festival Mahler|Kontraste|Belcanto. So, from 17th to 26th of September you can assist to several classic concerts in Dobbiaco, again. Look for the program of the Alto Adige Festival Mahler|Kontraste|Belcanto. But this is not all.
There are still two big concerts in program still during the month of August:
26th August 2010: Concert with the “Solisti Veneti” and star violinist Ugo UghiBoth concerts will begin at 8.30 pm and will take place at the Centro Culturale Grand Hotel of Dobbiaco, only 2 minutes from the Hotel Laurin.

Also this year, exactly from the 23rd to the 27th of June 2010, in Alta Pusteria Valley and its environs, is in program the Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival. Just for the 13th time about 90 choirs of all over the world will give about 60 concerts. You can hear gospels, jazz, folk and alpine songs, opera and sacred music in different locations: in churches, at mountains, at lakes, in huts, in castles. And you can visit all the concerts for free.
