Climbing in Dobbiaco

Dobbiaco, situated between the two natural parks of the Three Peaks and of Fanes-Sennes-Braies offers a lot of possibilities for climbing. Near the culture center of Dobbiaco you find the 16 meters high climbing tower, ideal to test your climbing skills. And then there exists two climbing garden, one in Landro and one in the Valley of Rienza. The climbing garden in Landro, near the Landro Lake offers about 50 routes with different difficulties from 3+ to 8a. The climbing garden in the Valley Rienza offers easy and well secured routes for beginners in the lower area and in the upper area routes of medium and high level of difficulty.

The Wood Wonder World

Just a few minutes by foot from the Hotel Laurin you reach the “WoodWonderWorld” of Dobbiaco. Here you can learn a lot about the forest. With the celtic tree horoscope the visitor can find out the tree, under which symbol they were born and you can check the characteristics of this tree with the own characteristics. Very interesting also the Tree Village, which informs about the activity of our forests and the possibility of the usage of the wood. For children this area is a great playground in free nature.
